VDI’s AMCs provide high performance frequency extension of microwave signal generators into the THz range. Models are currently available for coverage from 50GHz-1,100GHz with additional bands under development.
These modules combine high test-port power with low phase noise to offer exceptional performance. Standard features include TTL controlled on/off modulation up to ~5kHz, voltage controlled RF attenuation (UCA) and CE/TUV approved power supplies.
Performance options include micrometer driven variable RF attenuators,increased amplitude modulation rate (with added PIN switch) and ~25dBi horn antennas for free-space coupling.
VDI AMCs offer full waveguide band frequency multiplication and turn-key operation. They are housed in 8”x5”x4”enclosures suitable for standalone operation or optical table & probe stationmounting.
